Williams, a native of El Salvador, joined the law firm in May 2017. First, as a member of the Front Staff Team. He was quickly promoted to a Paralegal position and subsequently, to Submissions Paralegal. His excellent performance in the department has earned him his current role as Head of the Submissions Department.
Prior to his start at the firm, Williams worked for a number of years within different industries in Philadelphia focusing on customer service. One of his most recent positions was as a General Manager of a well-recognized Philadelphia establishment.
Williams holds a paralegal certificate after completing an intense paralegal study program and is a part-time student at Universidad Tecnologica de El Salvador. He expects to graduate with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in early 2020.
In his current role, Williams manages the firm’s Submissions Department, working with all attorneys to achieve their strategic plans and objectives. He and his team have the responsibility to ensure necessary paperwork is accurately and timely prepared for court proceedings, adhering to federal and local requirements. Additionally, Williams manages the submission of immigration applications, petitions, and other documentation, including employment authorizations, asylum, cancellation of removal, etc.
As a native Spanish speaker, Williams is able to perform professional Spanish to English translation. An immigrant himself, he is able to relate with clients and provide a level of comfort and understanding that only comes with first-hand knowledge and experience.
